The Start of Spring

As showers turned to flowers, there were some fun outings (going to the opera with Nonster, lunch at the Quin, meeting Mum and Dad in the Seaport for a drink after work), I went on a work trip to Indianapolis, and I dealt with some issues related to nearly hundred year old plumbing in the bathroom. A real smorgasbord.

Patriots Day

The itinerary for Patriots Day was yard work followed by fun in the city. Dad and I spent the morning digging up a hydrangea from the backyard and moving it to a spot of prominence in the front yard. This was a major success and the hydrangea is currently thriving. Once that was done, we hopped on the train to meet Stephanie (who didn't have the day off) for lunch. Much more fun than a day at work!

Easter Sunday

Casey and William hosted Easter per usual and we lucked out with a gorgeous day so the festivities took place in the backyard. Highlights include an Easter egg hunt, Ouiser learning how to do Pez, and a scrumptious strawberry cake.

Nonster's 92nd

April is a busy birthday month in our family (Nonster, Suzanne, Billy, William, and Ouiser were all April babies) so shortly after Ouiser's party we were partying again, this time in Annisquam in honor of Nonster's 92nd birthday (which coincided with William's 36th). I love the photo above of 92-year-old Nonster with 2-year-old Ouiser.
